Ginger-Pear Cheesecake

Hmm, This is different, still… Looks nice..

What You’ll Need:
1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) pear halves in light syrup, undrained
12 Ginger biscuits, crushed, divided
1/4 cup Light Cream Cheese Spread
1 cup thawed Whipped Cream

What You Have To Do:
1. Drain pears, but reserve 1/4 cup of syrup
2. Slice pears, then set them aside
3. Sprinkle 3/4 of the biscuits crumbs evenly into 4 dessert dishes
4. Mix cream cheese spread and the syrup in a medium bowl
5. Whisk it until well blended
6. stir in the whipped cream
7. Spoon over the crumbs in the dishes
8. Top with bears and remaining biscuit crumbs

Pear Crumble

ooo, everybody loves pear crumble…In 5 minutes though?!

What You’ll Need:
1 can (19fl oz/540ml) pear slices, drained
8 Vanilla wafers, coarsely crushed
1/2 cup thawed whipped topping
1/8 tsp. Ground cinnamon

What You Have To Do:
1. Spoon pears into 4 dessert bowls
2. Sprinkle with wafer crumbs
3. Combine whipped cream and cinnamon
4. Spoon evenly over desserts

Been Away

Sorry for the short break there, but I have been away and therefore haven't been able to access the wonderful resources called the internet, to help me search for more wonderful recipes!
But I'm back now, and shall resume putting on more recipes!

Microwave Pineapple Cake

Hmm, Pineapple cake! That’s different – Lets try it!

What You’ll Need:
6oz Sliced Pineapple
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 teaspoons of butter
6 Maraschino Cherries (What? You mean cherries?)
1 box (single layer size) white cake mix
1 egg, beaten

What You Have To Do:
1. Spray a microwave pan with non-stick vegetable spray
2. melt butter and pour into the pan
3. spread brown sugar in bottom of pan on butter
4. place pineapple slices around on top of brown sugar (save the juice)
5. Slice the cherries and place them in/around the pineapple slices
6. Pour the cake mix into a medium mixing bowl
7. Mix the pineapple juice and the egg into the cake mix
8. Pour the mix over the pineapple slices, cherries and brown sugar
9. Bake in microwave on high for 9 minutes

Yogurt Pops

Yogurt…Pops.
Yes. Yogurts – But pops.
WOW! frozen yogurt?!

What you’ll need:
6 oz of fat free yogurt
6 oz unsweetened fruit juice concentrate
wooden sticks
OPTIONAL: dash of vanilla or honey

What you’ll need to do:
1. In a medium sized bowl, mix the ingredients together.
2. Pour into paper cups
3. freeze until partially frozen (About 1 hour?)
4. Insert wooden sticks into each cup and freeze until solid

Notes:
* Okay, so i lied a little – It takes about 4 hours to finish, but it’s only 10 minutes prep!
* You don’t NEED the wooden sticks… But you might want to think how you’ll pick it up.
* 130 calories per serving! wowza!

Apple Cobbler

A quick one…

What You’ll Need:
2 Honey Maid Graham Wafers
1/4 Cup Applesauce
1 Tbsp. thawed whipped topping
Ground Cinnamon

What You Have To Do:
1. Place Wafers in a microwaveable bowl
2. Top it with apple sauce
3. Microwave on high for 15 to 45 seconds (until hot)
4. leave for 1 minute to cool slightly
5. Top with whipped cream
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon (If you want it)

Strawberry-Banana Parfaits

I’ve never even heard of the damn things before!

But hell, Just look at them…
Anyway – Good if you’re looking for a healthy dessert!

What you’ll need:
12 oz of strawberry yogurt
2 cups Honey Cluster Cereal
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 medium banana, thinly sliced
some whole fresh strawberries

What you’ll have to do:
1. In each of the cups layer 2 table spoons of yogurt
2. then add some cluster cereal
3. add in the strawberry slices + banana slices.
4. Top each with another 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and some cereal.
5. add the remaining yogurt, and garnish each one with a whole straberry!

Notes:
* Only 230 calories per serving!
* Makes 4 servings (ideally)
* You could add in different fruits, and other cereal or so..

Almond Pancakes With Ice Cream And Toffee Sauce

Mmmm nice and unhealthy, just how I like it!

What You’ll Need:
150g Self-raising flour
2tbsp Caster sugar
1 Free-range egg
150ml (1/4pint) Milk
55g Flaked almonds
Oil, for frying.
55g Butter
55g Soft brown sugar
150ml Double cream
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
30g/1oz Plain chocolate, chopped
2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
1 Banana, sliced.

What You Have To Do:

Lets start with pancakes:
1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, egg and milk (until smooth)
2. Stir in the flaked almonds
3. Head some oil in a frying pan
4. Add some batter to the pan
5. ‘Swirl’ it to cover the base
6. Fry until golden-brown (on both sides!)
7. Remove from the pan onto a plate
8. Make pancakes with the rest of the batter

For the Toffee Sauce:
1. Heat butter and sugar together in a pan until melted
2. Stir in the cream until smooth
3. Add vanilla extract and chocolate and melt together

Finishing it off:
1. Place pancake onto the plate, top it off with a scoop of ice cream, and half a banana.
2. Put another pancake ontop, with another scoop of icecream, and the rest of the banana.
3. Top with the third pancake (Yummy!)
4. Drizzle over the toffee sauce
5. Serve it whilst it’s hot!

Oreo Chocolate Pudding

I’ve never even heard of one of these before..

What You’ll Need:
1 package (4-serving size) of chocolate pudding
8 Oreo Cookies

What You Have To Do:
1. Prepare the chocolate pudding
2. Crumble 1 cookie into the bottom of 4 dessert dishes
3. Cover them evenly with pudding
4. Sprinkle each with 1 of the remaining cookies (crumbled)

Oreo Split

Ooo, This looks tasty, doesn’t it?!

What You’ll Need:
2 Chocolate Pudding snack pots
1 Banana, Cut lengthwise, then crosswise in half
1/4 Cup thawed whipped topping
2 Oreo Cookies, crumbled

What You Have To Do:
1. Spoon the pudding into 2 small bowls
2. Insert the bananas into the pudding
3. Top with whipped cream
4. sprinkle with cookie crumbs

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Everybody loves cookies… But in under 10 minutes?!

What you’ll need:
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup unbleached flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped nuts

What You Have To Do:
1. Grease the bottom of a square baking dish (8x8x2 inches)
2. Mix brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla
3. Stir in flour, oats, baking powder, and salt
4. Spread evenly in baking dish
5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts
6. Microwave (uncovered) on high for 6-7 minutes (until no longer doughy)
7. leave to cool
8. Cut into 2 inch squares!

S'mores

S’mores, The famous american junk!
Everybody wants to try them, so why not?!

What You’ll Need:
1 Graham cracker broken in half
8 miniature marshmallows
1 miniature hersheys chocolate bar (or other brand)
(If you want the original taste, but can’t get a hersheys chocolate bar,
then contact me by leaving a comment)

What You Need To Do:
1. Place graham cracker halves on a small plate (microwave-safe)
2. arrange marshmallows evenly on one side of the halves
3. in the middle of the other cracker half, place the chocolate
4. Microwave on high for about 45 seconds (or until marshmallow are puffy)
5. press two halves together to make a sandwich

Chocolate Covered Ice Cream Balls

Just a little something…

What you’ll need:
8 Scoops of vanilla ice-cream
200g bar of plain dark chocolate

What you’ll have to do:
1. Scoop out the ice-cream ontoa foil-lined tray
2. Put them back in the freezer for a moment
3. Break the bar of chocolate into pieces (into a bowl)
4. Melt it (Either in the microwave or over a pot of boiling water)
5. Leave it to cool a little, without letting it set
6. Dip the ice-cream balls into the chocolate
7. Gently turn them, using a teaspoon
8. Put them back on the tray and put them in the freezer
9. wait till set – And pig out!

Chocolate Pudding

Ok so this IS a lot like the chocolate brownies..but slightly different!

What you’ll need:
4oz of self-raising flour
4oz of sugar
4oz of margarine
2 Eggs
2 Heaped tablespoons of cocoa powder

What you’ll have to do:
1. Mix it all together
2. Microwave on high for 4 minutes!

Notes:
* Try adding chocolate chips!
* Serve with cream or custard (maybe both?)

Mmmm, flapjacks!
in under 10 minutes you say?!
Wow! who’d have thought it possible?

What you’ll need:
4oz (1oog) Butter
1oz (25g) caster sugar
4 tablespoons golden syrup
7oz (200g) oats
5oz (150g) chocolate (or other things that go in flapjack)

What you’ll have to do:
1. Melt the butter and the sugar together in the microwave (stir it every now and then for 15 second) for a couple of minutes.
2. Stir in the Golden Syrup
3. Stir in the oats
4. Microwave the mixture on high for about 3 minutes. (will grow a lot)
5. If you have any fruit or raisins etc. to add in, do it now!
6. Lightly grease a baking dish
7. Melt the chocolate (if in microwave, put it in 15-20 seconds at a time and then stir it – and repeat)
8. Spoon the flapjack mixture into the baking dish and flatten it down
9. Pour/Drizzle the chocolate on top of the mixture
10. Let it cool, and then refrigerate.
11. Once set, Ready to eat!

Notes:
*The squirty botles of golden syrup are easier than tins.
*Chocolate is better than fruit..
*Cut it into “squares” or “rectangles”
*You should get about 7 – 10 pieces.

Microwave Chocolate Brownies/Sponge Cake

Mmmm, Yummy brownies or chocolate sponge cake in only 3 minutes!

I have these way too much..

You’ll Need:

4 tablespoons of flour (Plain for Brownies; Self-raising for sponge cake)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
1 mug
What You’ll Have To Do:
1. Mix together the flour, the sugar, and the cocoa!
2. Spoon in one egg
3. Pour in the milk and the oil, then mix well!
4. Put in the microwave for around 3 minutes on high (1000Watt)
5. Wait for it to stop rising and PIG OUT!
Notes:
*Sponge cake and brownies are exactly the same except for the type of flour.
*If using a larger mug remember to increase ingredients (And cook longer).
*Don’t eat too fast; You’ll be sick!
*Try it with custard! Yummy!

Peanut Brittle

kay….Well..It looks worse than it tastes….

What You’ll Need:
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup light corn syrup
1 Cup raw peanuts
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

What You Have To Do:
1. Combine the sugar, syrup, peanuts and salt in a microwavable bowl
2. microwave on high for 8 minutes
3. After 4 minutes, stir
4. Add butter, then microwave on high for 2 minutes
5. brittle should not get too brown
6. Stir in the vanilla and soda until light and foamy
7. spread on buttered baking sheet as thinly as possible
8. let it cool
9. break it into pieces

3 Minute Fudge Sauce

Goes well on Ice cream!

What You’ll Need: 1/2 cup margarine 1 box 10x powde

red sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

What you have to do: 1. Put the margarine, sugar, cocoa and milk in a bowl but don’t mix 2. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir until smooth 3. Add the vanilla and (optional) chopped nuts 4. pour into a buttered 9″ pan 5. cook it a little 6. refrigerate until hard, and then eat it!

Banana Bread

Yummy, Everybody loves banana’s, And everybody loves bread..Right?
Okay… I did lie again.. This one is 10 minutes prep, and slightly longer to cook…But it’s banana bread!

What You’ll Need:
1/2 stick (4-5 tablespoons) butter, softened
2 Eggs
2 or 3 Very ripe bananas
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/3 cup of all-purpose unbleached flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

What You Have To Do:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 350
2. Mix together the butter, eggs, bananas and sugar
3. Mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon
4. “Combine” the two mixture and mix until they’re blended together
5. Pour the dough into greasing baking pans
6. When you can insert a knife into the center and it comes out clean, it’s done
7. Cool for 5 – 10 minutes

Notes:
* The banana should be “mashed” into the mixture
* Between step 4 and 5 is when you should add any extra ingredients
* A small loaf tends to take 30 minutes to cook, whilst a large one takes 50
* Don’t think you have to eat it warm, it’s great cold too!

Pancakes

Yummy pancakes – You can’t go wrong,
everybody loves them.

What you’ll need:
60g (2oz) plain flour
1 Medium Egg
175ml (6fl oz) milk
Oil (For Frying)

What you have to do:
1. Beat together the egg and milk
2. Put the flour in a bowl, and slowly whisk in the egg & milk
3. Heat a frying pan and lightly grease the base
4. Pour a thin layer of batter over the base of the pan
5. Cook it until the edges start to curl back
6. Use a palette knife to “loosen” it and then flip it over
7. Cook the pancake briefly on this side
8. Slide it onto a plate, make more!

Notes:
* If you’re skilled, try tossing the pancake! (Not a euphanism)
* There are plenty of different toppings; Chocolate, Syrup, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Cream…

10 Minute Fudge

Make your own fudge?!
What’s the world coming to?
Anyway – Lets get to it!

What you’ll need:
3 ounces of unsweetened chocolate
4 Tablespoons of margarine
4 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
1/3 cup of instant non-fat dry milk
1/2 cup of light corn syrup
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Pot
1 Sifter
1 Spoon
Some wax paper
8×8 inch pan (Or just grab one…)
Spatula

What you’ll have to do:
1. Line the pan with wax paper (it should cover the bottom and curl up onto the sides0
2. Sift the powdered sugar and dry milk together, let the mixture fall onto a large piece of wax paper.
3. Melt the chocolate and margarine in the pot, using medium heat and stirring it a lot.
4. Stir in the corn syrup, water and vanilla. Keep stirring it until it’s the same consistency and colour..
5. Add the sugar/dry milk mixture. Don’t add it all at once, and keep stirring until the mixture is completely smooth.
6. Pour the mixture into the pan, using a spatula to get all the mixture out!
7. wait for it to cool down and them pig out! (well… maybe not.)

Notes:
*You can add nuts in at step 5 if you would like!
*Do NOT scrape burned fudge off the bottom of the pan – Your fudge will taste burnt!
*Cut them into fun shapes!

Microwave Sponge Pudding

mm everybody loves sponge pudding!

What you’ll need:
110g self-raising flour
50g sugar
1 flat teaspoon baking powder
100ml water
60ml vegetable oil
1 tablespoon golden syrup

What you’ll have to do:
1. Mix together the self-raising flour, sugar and baking powder
2. Stir in the water and oil, mix thoroughly!
3. Pour the syrup into the middle of the mixture ( it will sink to the bottom)
4. Cover bowl with microwave-proof cling-film
5. Microwave on high for around 4 minutes
6. Leave to stand
7. Turn out onto a plate

Notes:
* Serve with soya cream, or custard
* Try using jam or marmalade instead of golden syrup
* try adding dates or raisins to the batter!
